Your never too old to go hunting or fishing! Can you get into a car? Can you get into an airplane? Then you can probably get into a boat. If you can do these than you are not too old to go hunting or fishing with us. We conduct all our hunts by boat. You travel to the bear baits & moose spots by boat. All fishing is done in boats. Our oldest moose hunter was a 92 yr old man whose wife drove him from Arkansas to Lynn Lake Manitoba. It took them 4 days. We got him into a floatplane and flew him out to LBZ Lake. There he was taken out by boat moose hunting by one of our Manitoba Licensed guides to Hunt moose. He just needed a little help to get into the boat and him and the guide went to call a bull moose in to shoot. You and shoot out of the boat as long as the motor is off and forward progress has stopped. It wasn’t long and the guide called in a fairly nice one but the guide said we can do better and get you a bigger bull. The hunter said he wanted to shoot this bull even though this was the first one he saw and it was the first day of the hunt. He and the guide differed in that the hunter wanted to shoot this first bull. He finally told the guide, ” I am 92 yrs old and to kill a moose is on my bucket list.   Fact is the moose is here in front of us for an easy shot. I might be dead tomorrow.” So the guide agreed and he shot the moose. One is better in the hand than two in the bush.
