Hello everyone! We made the 1,200 mile annual trek to the Wolverine Lodge with only one flat tire along the gravel road. A beautiful, sunny, warm day greeted us in Northern Manitoba 27 miles from the town of Lynn Lake. The ice is Off! We thought we would still see some on the lake. We do not know for sure if it is off 60 miles north where one of our fly in lodges is located on Mahekun Lake. We have the satellite internet hooked up and phone should be ready tomorrow. Now is the time to get ready for some pole bending on some huge Monster Manitoba Northern Pike. The first guests will be arriving June 7 with many more to follow to the Wolverine Lodge and Lynn Lake Fly-In Outpost Camps. Thats all for now as we are getting the cob webs out of the cabins and mounting the motors on the boats.
